Red Barn Consulting, Inc. seeks a Civil Designer to contribute to high‑quality civil design and drafting, moving projects from concept through construction. You will produce contractor-ready deliverables, support field activities, and collaborate with engineers and project staff.

You will own portions of production, grow technically, and work in a team‑oriented environment at our Lancaster, PA office. Experience with 3D modeling, alignments, and pipe networks is valued and rewarded.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of civil design and CADD experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2011+).
• 3D surface modeling, alignments, and pipe networks experience.
• GIS tools and data integration knowledge (plus).
• Clear communicator who collaborates well with team members.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with PennDOT driveway permitting.
• PADEP Sewer Modules experience.
• Education in civil/construction/technical fields is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Produce existing conditions plans using 3D surfaces and topographic mapping.
• Build proposed grading models, profiles, cross sections, and plan sets.
• Generate as-built plans for project closeout and escrow release.
• Develop site utilities, pipe networks, and construction details using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate designs with engineers, planners, and agency requirements.
• Assist survey crews in the field with survey support and construction stakeout.
• Keep drawing files, sheet sets, and project data organized and accurate.
