Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Civil 3D Drafter to assist the Project Manager in creating project designs from start to finish, including conceptual/master planning and regulatory compliance.

You will develop documents addressing layouts, grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadways, and water resources, while supporting civil engineers and ensuring timely completion of projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Civil Drafting.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D (2018 or newer).
• Team-oriented with strong time-management and deadlines.
• Experience in land development or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D surfaces.
• Correct redlines on plans from commissions.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project designs.
• Plan checking documents.
• Provide technical support to civil engineers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.
• Manage project deadlines and multitask.
