Job summary

AEC Resources, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Civil Designer to contribute to diverse engineering projects and collaborate with internal teams and clients.

You will develop design concepts, produce high-quality documents per in-house drafting standards, and help refine standards while coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams. The role offers 100% remote work with optional hybrid, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Civil Engineering design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Bluebeam, or Infraworks
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and collaborate with clients and internal teams
• Resolve project issues proactively with guidance from team members
• Produce high-quality documents adhering to in-house drafting standards
• Assist in creation and refinement of standards, templates, and best practices for the Civil Engineering Department
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Set up projects following company standards and creating custom AutoCAD content when needed
• Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and quality
• Participate in process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance workflows and standards
