Job summary

Olsson provides multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services across diverse land development projects. As a Civil Design Manager, you will lead QA/QC, perform senior design reviews, and manage project staff on technical aspects.

Travel to job sites and working in varied terrains may be required. You will supervise and guide less experienced staff, promote quality efficiencies, and serve as a senior resource for client projects while developing expertise in designated design

  • May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data.
  • Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work.
  • Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.

Job Description

Olsson provides multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types.

As a Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance/quality control for the team, providing senior level design review for the team, and attending client meetings. You will direct and manage project staff on technical aspects of projects. You may also travel to job sites at different stages in construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
