Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD preferred.
4+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural drafting and design experience.
Ability to produce drawings for concrete and structural steel, and/or civil disciplines.
Knowledge and application of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards.
Ability to create accurate civil/structural construction documents from vendor drawings.
Understanding of workflow between disciplines and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

Draft civil/structural plans under minimal supervision.
Review and comprehend information on drawings before starting design work.
Assist engineers with cost and material estimates and preliminary studies.
Ensure drawing accuracy against engineering calculations and other discipline drawings.
Mentor entry level and new teammates as needed.
Support field activities for information collection and tie-ins.
