Job summary

KPFF Austin is actively hiring motivated civil engineers with three to five years of site development experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for civil engineering design of site development projects including rough and precise grading, water, sewer, storm drain, hydrology and hydraulic calculations, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.

Qualifications

• E.I.T. or P.E. license required or in progress
• 3–5 years of site development experience
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Proficient with MS Office
• Excellent communication and time management
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to visit job sites
• Able to focus and apply engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Civil design of site development projects including grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage
• Perform hydrology and hydraulics calculations
• Coordinate with staff and design team members
• Research, permitting, and preparation of construction documents and specs
