KPFF Austin is actively hiring for civil engineers with three to five years of site development experience. You will design grading, utilities, hydrology and hydraulics, and coordinate with the project team to prepare construction documents and specs.

Qualifications

• E.I.T. or P.E. certification required.
• 3–5 years of site development engineering experience.
• Self-starter with strong motivation.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, hydrology modeling, storm drainage software.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to visit job sites to inspect conditions and scope.

Responsibilities

• Design site development projects including rough and precise grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations.
• Coordinate work with staff and design team members; prepare construction documents and technical specifications.
• Research, coordination, permitting, and project execution for site development.
