Job summary

TGC Talent is recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer in Orlando, FL to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team. You will work on site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and 3–4+ years of civil/site design experience, with EI/EIT preferred or FE eligibility within six months. The role offers a base salary of $90,000–$100,000 and biannual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year program.
• Approximately 3–4+ years of civil engineering or site design experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D; EI/EIT preferred or FE eligibility within six months.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil site plans and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support site layouts, grading, erosion control, stormwater systems, utilities and transportation layouts.
• Prepare improvement plans, reports, permit applications, specifications and correspondence.
• Perform calculations for storm drainage, wastewater, potable water, earthwork and costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams across disciplines.
• Assist with commercial, residential, multifamily, subdivision and infrastructure projects.
• Review project data for discrepancies and support from planning to completion.
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders as needed.
