Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Civil Design Engineer to join the Sentinel program and support civil-structural design for launch facilities. This is a full-time role with a robust benefits package and relocation assistance may be available.

The candidate will contribute to design, modeling, and integration efforts, collaborating with suppliers and contractors, and applying standards such as ASCE and CSI Dynamic Standards. U.S. Citizenship and Secret/SAP clearance readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain SAP clearance as a condition of continued employment.
• Knowledge of construction materials and construction details and techniques.
• Understanding of construction codes and standards such as ASCE, CSI Dynamic Standards, and Engineering Change Proposal nomenclature.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Engineering Scheduling tools; able to navigate the Internet for information gathering.

Responsibilities

• Design Engineer on the Infrastructure Design Team (INF) for Sentinel facilities.
• Support design, modeling, and integration for civil-structural elements of launch facilities and test facilities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors; review design builds and packages; manage design parameters.
