Job summary

Bohler Engineering Group’s Towson, MD office is seeking a Design Engineer to grow with a collaborative team shaping land development across the Baltimore metro area. You will support site design projects from concept to completion, working with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable solutions.

Responsibilities include preparing site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater plans; conducting research and due diligence; performing design calculations and drafting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years site design experience in residential/commercial/industrial.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.

About the Role

Bohler's Towson, MD office is seeking a Design Engineer who's ready to grow, take on new challenges, and be part of a collaborative team shaping the future of land development across the Baltimore Metro area. In this role, you'll support site design projects from concept to completion, working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable, and creative solutions.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges

What You'll Bring
