Bohler Engineering Group is seeking a Design Engineer in Bowie, MD to grow within a collaborative team shaping land development. You\'ll support site design projects from concept to completion, working with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable solutions.

Responsibilities include site layout, grading, utility planning, design calculations, and permitting support. A Bachelor\'s in Civil Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience across residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas to help solve engineering challenges.
