Bohler’s Bedford, NH office is seeking a Design Engineer who will help shape the future of land development in the Bedford area. You will support site design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients to create practical, buildable solutions.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in civil site design and permitting while working in a supportive, mentorship-driven culture that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience in residential and/or commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail and curiosity to learn new tools and methods.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges.
