Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer III to join our Civil team in Virginia. You will support a licensed Civil Engineer while learning company standards and local agency codes, with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency and coordination with agencies and internal teams.

You should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of solving complex issues on time and within budget as you pursue a Professional Engineering license.

Qualifications

• Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs, analysis, and issues
• Preparation of entitlement documents for Tentative Maps, Vacations, Zone Changes, Entitlements, etc.
• Calculation of quantities using Excel and justification letters using Word
• Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D including grading plans; plan and profiles; construction details; storm drain, water and sewer facilities; signage and striping plans

Responsibilities
