Job summary

Galloway & Company, Inc. in the United States is seeking a civil site development professional to support engineering teams on a range of projects.

You will draft site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, collaborate across disciplines, prepare reports and permit applications, and assist with stormwater, utility and earthwork calculations. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and EI/EIT or FE eligibility are required, with 2–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• EI/EIT certification or FE eligibility to be taken within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft site plans and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines and engage with clients to ensure quality outcomes.
• Prepare improvement plans, technical reports, permit applications, and specifications for civil projects.
• Support calculations for storm drainage, wastewater, potable water, earthwork, and cost estimates.
• Apply problem-solving to correlate data, identify discrepancies, and follow the design process.
• Draft civil engineering reports and correspondence using technical writing skills.
• Contribute to new business development by delivering high-quality work reflecting Galloway's standards.
