Qualifications

PAY: $68.00/hr - $87.00/hr DOE LOCATION: Omaha, NE WORK ARRANGEMENT / WORK TYPE: Hybrid; two days per week in the Omaha, NE office SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary

Lead civil site design work spanning early planning, site infrastructure, drainage, wastewater, and grading while coordinating with a multidisciplinary project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site civil design work and coordinate remotely with other discipline team members.
• Support site selection, site development, and site master planning, including early project work before a building layout is set.
• Design underground utility routing and site space plans.
• Perform hydrology analysis and design storm drain systems.
• Analyze and design gravity wastewater systems.
• Prepare final grading plans, including cut-and-fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans; support permit approvals.
• Research and follow local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) design and construction requirements.
• Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using applications such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.
• Coordinate civil site/facility design with mechanical, structural, architectural, electrical, and other disciplines.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience.
• A PE license, or the ability to obtain one within the first six months of the contingent assignment.
• Advanced Civil 3D skills.
• Experience with stormwater analysis/modeling using StormCAD and/or CivilStorm.
• Ability to lead site civil work and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on site/facility projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent Civil 3D design experience, particularly on data center or large industrial projects.
• Data center experience with site selection, development, or master planning is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

• Relocation may be available for a strong candidate; time to relocate can be accommodated.
