We are looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience to contribute to our growing portfolio of land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, proficiency in Civil 3D, and a passion for creating sustainable and efficient designs. Our projects range from residential, commercial and industrial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare civil engineering designs, plans, and technical specifications for a wide range of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other relevant software to create accurate and detailed site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and stormwater management designs.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to hydrology, hydraulics, grading, and earthwork.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines, to ensure integrated and cohesive project designs.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, technical reports, and permit applications.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather data, and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project progress.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in civil engineering and land development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering
• 3+ years land development (grading, drainage, design) experience
• AutoCAD Civil 3D background

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1-2 years
• Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes
