Community Law Group in Nashville seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to advocate in Family Law and Criminal Defense, manage cases from consultation through resolution, and build trusted relationships with clients and the community. Must hold an active Tennessee law license with 4–5 years of Family Law and/or Criminal Defense experience.

As an Associate Attorney, you will represent clients in Family Law and Criminal Defense matters while building trusted relationships within the community.

You will manage cases from consultation through resolution, advocate for clients both in and out of court, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

During your first year, you will:

• Build and manage a successful caseload in Family Law and Criminal Defense

• Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide goals
• Expand your legal expertise and professional capabilities

Qualifications

Required

• Active Tennessee law license
• Minimum of 4-5 years of Family Law and/or Criminal Defense experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, mediation, legal research, and legal writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and case management abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Strategic thinking and sound legal judgment

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience serving multicultural or immigrant communities
• Experience mentoring junior legal professionals
• Passion for community-centered legal advocacy
