Job summary

Tower Communications Expert (TCE) is seeking a Civil Crew Leader to direct day-to-day civil field activities and lead a crew on TX projects. You will work hands-on, supervise excavation, trenching, concrete, foundations, and grounding, while ensuring safety and quality on schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in civil construction or telecom, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings, coordinate equipment, and mentor crew members in best practices. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in civil construction or telecom field.
  • Experience leading civil field crews and hands-on work (excavation, trenching, concrete).
  • Ability to read construction drawings and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily civil jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members.
  • Work hands-on with excavation, trenching, concrete, foundations, grounding, conduit installation, and site restoration.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to keep projects on schedule.
  • Enforce safety standards and conduct tailgate meetings to ensure OSHA compliance.

Civil Crew Leaders play a critical role in execution, safety, quality, and crew performance — setting the standard onsite and ensuring civil work is completed safely and correctly the first time.The RoleThe Civil Crew Leader is a hands-on field leader responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of an assigned civil crew while actively participating in the work.
