Job summary

Crowder Construction Co is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead 40–60 craft people, supervise safety, quality and execution on major projects.

You will collaborate with Owners, Engineers and Crowder management, read drawings, manage schedules and manpower, and ensure on-time, on-budget performance. A valid driver’s license is required and travel to multi-state projects may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of Leadman and Foreman experience.
• Read and understand project drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; familiarity with Primavera scheduling and COINS.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• May travel to multi-state projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality on site and mentor craftworkers.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and manpower.
• Manage man-hours and cost coding within budgets.
• Communicate with Owners, Engineers, Subcontractors, Vendors and Crowder management.
• Audit and approve manpower and ensure adherence to safety policies.
