Job summary

King Asphalt, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee one or more construction projects across private, public, and heavy highway sectors. You will report to the division manager and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include supervising site operations, coordinating subcontractors, tracking costs, preparing schedules, and communicating with engineers, clients, and inspectors. You will also oversee safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of civil engineering and/ or project management.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction operations on assigned projects to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Monitor project status and suggest improvements in crew sizing, methods, quality, and value engineering.
• Coordinate and control subcontractors; ensure timely start dates and compliance with specs and policies.
• Maintain positive relations with engineers, inspectors, clients and the public to facilitate progress.
• Prepare and review monthly billings, verify quantities and assist in accounts receivable.
• Ensure safety, security, and cost control; monitor changes and permits as needed.
