Job summary

David Nice Builders, Inc. is hiring a Civil Construction Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of site and civil projects, from pre-construction planning through closeout, in a hands-on, portfolio-management role that blends field operations, client relationships, and commercial execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in civil or site construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred, not required with strong field experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, drawings, specs, and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with commercial discipline.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams.
• Self-starter who handles priorities independently and holds team accountable.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in pre-construction planning, estimating, and client meetings.
• Establish project organization and maintain all project records and correspondence.
• Manage and direct project team to ensure efficient operations from day one.
• Draft and maintain lookahead schedules and monitor master schedules.
• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and change order processes.
• Coordinate payments and closeout activities with stakeholders.
