Job summary
Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Civil Construction division. You will operate scrapers, loaders, and Gannon boxes, perform grading, prepare subgrade, read grades, and support crews to meet project schedules.

Qualifications
- 1–3 years Equipment Operator experience with scraper, loader, and Gannon preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate scrapers, loaders, and Gannon boxes.
- Perform rough and finish grading activities.
- Move, spread, and balance soil materials.
- Load and stockpile aggregates and construction materials.
- Prepare subgrade and base for asphalt paving.
- Read grade stakes, plans, and GPS guidance systems.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
- Assist with excavation, backfill, and site preparation.
- Support civil and asphalt crews to meet project schedules.
