Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture is a must.
• HDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy applies; drug-screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects such as roads and bridges.
• Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects.
• Coordinate field materials sampling and testing (concrete slump, air testing, cylinders, soil compaction).
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector.
• Perform other duties as needed.
