Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• EIT License in Texas is required or actively pursuing licensure.
• 3–7 years of experience in civil engineering, construction administration, or construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, utility plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Familiarity with codes, permitting, stormwater management, and environmental compliance during construction.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and material certifications for conformance with contract documents.
• Conduct site observations to monitor construction progress and prepare field observation reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, owners, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to resolve construction-related issues.
• Evaluate substitutions, change orders, and design modifications for technical compliance and constructability.
• Provide technical guidance on civil systems including grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and erosion control.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, final inspections, and as-built document coordination.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and correspondence records.
