Job summary

Matrix Service in North Carolina seeks a Carpenter, Concrete, Civil Helper to assist in constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, using hand and power tools, in compliance with building codes.

You will perform diverse carpentry work in new construction and refinery settings, interpret drawings, plan job methods, ensure safety, and support on-site teams to deliver quality projects on time.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in refinery maintenance/construction.
• Proficient with basic hand tools.
• Able to pass Carpenter Skills Test or NCCER certification.
• Must complete Matrix Safety training and site-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures and fixtures of wood using hand and power tools.
• Interpret drawings and prints; plan sequence of operations and job methods.
• Set up and operate woodworking tools; select materials and equipment suitable for the job.
• Perform interior finishing, repair, and construction of office furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and scaffolds.
