Position Title: CAD Technician I

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician I to support civil and electrical engineering design projects in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level drafting professional looking to grow their career in computer-aided design (CAD), substation design, and utility engineering.

In this role, you will develop and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, supporting engineering teams with high-quality design documentation. You will gain hands-on experience producing engineering drawings for substations, relay systems, transmission lines, and related infrastructure projects while working in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

• Produce diagrams, schematics, layouts, and multi-view drawings to scale

Required Skills/Education:
