Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil CAD Technician, reporting to our Bloomington, IL office with the flexibility to be based in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will support multiple disciplines and provide production support for Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Process Engineering. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with experienced engineers on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, municipal, water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure.

Job Activities:

  • Civil Engineering - projects including roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site design and grading, processing of survey data, creation of existing conditions drawings including 3-D DTM and standard drawings, creation of survey stakeouts, and other survey related tasks.
  • Process Engineering – Plan preparations for treatment facilities.

Specific Requirements Include:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent certificate with specialization in AutoCAD. Revit experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Technician in the civil engineering field.

Salary Range: $22 - $28 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
