Position: CAD Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our Civil Group. A good candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in both the private and federal markets.

Responsibilities

This CAD Technician will be expected to work with a Project Manager and Project Engineer to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects. This role will assist with creating site layouts, performing grading and drainage design, road design, utility design, and construction plan preparation. In this position, you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in CAD Drafting or similar field is preferred
• 2+ years of CAD experience, preferably with civil/site development projects
• Ability to work well independently or on teams
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
