Job summary

DDG is seeking a Civil CAD Designer in Gautier, MS to produce site civil engineering plans and development drawings. You will work with civil engineers and CAD technicians to deliver quality drawings that support construction and client solutions.

Responsibilities include drainage, grading, plan-profile drawings, and calculations, with up to 30% travel. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk tools is required.

Qualifications

• Technical Certificate or Associate’s Degree from a CAD program/school.
• Minimum 5 years of civil drafting experience.
• Experience in commercial land development incl. site improvement design, drainage, utilities, grading.
• Proficiency in civil land-based CAD drafting and latest AutoCAD software.
• Operation of CAD workstations, plotters, printers and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil designs and site development plans including drainage, grading, water and wastewater.
• Plot maps with topographic contours, elevations, profiles, and cross-sections; create plan-profile drawings for infrastructure.
• Prepare drainage calculations, cut and fill calculations.
• Visualize designs for land development projects across industrial, commercial, and municipal sites.
• Ensure drawings meet DDG CAD standards and stay within project budgets.
• Travel up to 30% of the week and support other duties as assigned.
