Job summary

Cochran is seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer to join our civil engineering team at the Union, Missouri headquarters. You will create precise drawings, work closely with engineers, and help turn concepts into buildable plans from design through completion.

Role requires 2–5 years civil drafting experience and a two-year design/drafting degree, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office. On-site role with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Understand civil CAD-based drafting procedures.

• Create maps and profiles from surveys and topography.
• Interpret survey data and geophysical reports.
• Prepare documentation packages for reproduction.
• Support Engineers and Surveyors with drafting tasks.
