Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for both public and private projects to ensure work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation/inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, and oversight of materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients’ specific project requirements.
As a Civil Bridge Inspector, you will play a key role in the inspection and evaluation of bridge and structural construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include performing and coordinating inspections of bridges and related structures, interpreting project plans and specifications, ensuring construction activities comply with applicable standards, and documenting construction progress in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with construction managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design intent. This role requires a strong understanding of structural components, materials, and construction practices specific to bridges.
You will travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in a variety of terrain and weather conditions.
