Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a detail-oriented CADD Technician to join our Richmond, VA office. You will transform engineering concepts into construction drawings and 3D Civil 3D models for land development projects.

The ideal candidate is proficient with Civil 3D surfaces, alignments and profiles, and can produce client-ready plan sets with minimal supervision while adhering to CAD standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of professional civil site design/drafting experience.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and able to produce client-ready plan sets.
• Strong understanding of land development principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan production: create complete construction drawings for land development.
• 3D modeling: build Civil 3D surfaces, alignments and profiles.
• Data management: manage Xrefs, data shortcuts, sheet sets.
• Quality control: self-check for accuracy and CAD standards.
• Collaboration: coordinate with PMs and Civil Engineers to meet deadlines.
