Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Design Engineer for our Richmond, Virginia office. The Site/Civil Design Engineer will develop plans, perform design calculations, and assist Team Lead with site/civil land development projects in Higher Education and Energy sectors.

Responsibilities include creating grading and stormwater plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and collaborating with team members to meet scope, schedule, and deliverables while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of site/civil experience.
• Knowledge of Virginia codes and regulations.
• Experience with stormwater facilities and land disturbance permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management.
• Design site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and WSSI standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure project objectives are met within scope and schedule.
