Job summary

The City of Millcreek is seeking a CAD Technician II to perform intermediate drafting and plan production for municipal street, storm drain, water, and sewer projects using Autodesk Civil 3D. You will prepare construction drawings, exhibits, and related documents under PE supervision and city standards.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in drafting or related field and at least three years of Civil 3D CAD experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with CAD experience.
• Three years of professional CAD drafting using Civil 3D in civil/public works.
• Equivalent combinations of education/experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain construction plans, sheets, and exhibits using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Create and manage project data, alignments, surfaces, corridors, and pipes.
• Apply drafting standards and maintain accurate document records.
• Coordinate with engineers and other staff to support plan production.
• Assist with GIS data and field measurements as needed.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy before submittal.
