Job summary

The New Jersey Innovation Authority is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead end-to-end product and project management across statewide digital services. The role focuses on delivering equitable, user-centered solutions in a dynamic, startup-like environment within government.

You will drive vision, strategy, and roadmaps while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure long-term success across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading the development of multiple digital products or services, preferably in civic tech.
• Experience using modern iterative, user-centered, continuous delivery methodologies.
• Ability to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Experience gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative user data to inform decisions.
• Proven ability to manage sprint ceremonies and coordinate delivery plans with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product and project management to deliver modern solutions for diverse New Jersey users.
• Champion equity, accessibility, and user needs from the outset.
• Lead agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Evaluate and select between custom-developed vs. SAAS solutions.
• Engage external experts to inform and accelerate product development.
