Job summary

Kalamazoo College is seeking a recent graduate for a full-time Post-Baccalaureate Fellow in the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE). The role focuses on strengthening student programs, supporting community partnerships, and advancing inclusion and social justice. This approximately one-year, benefits-eligible position runs fall 2026–2027, with possible renewal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with civic engagement programs.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to inclusive, justice-oriented spaces.
• Comfort gathering, organizing, and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection and assessment for civic engagement programs.
• Help plan and facilitate structured reflections for student participants.
• Attend student-led reflections and provide coaching and feedback.
• Create and update content for CCE social media, website, and campus communications.
• Maintain archives of photos, videos, interviews, and storytelling materials.
• Assist with planning and facilitating CCE events, orientations, workshops, and learning activities.
• Support course-based partnerships, field trips, and program logistics.
• Contribute to research on best practices in civic engagement and program improvement.
• Participate in College committees and represent the CCE at events.
