Job summary

API PA is seeking energetic canvassers for a temporary fall program in Philadelphia County. The role involves door-to-door conversations, using a mobile canvassing app, and reporting activities through the provided platform.

You will participate in trainings, join team meetings, and contribute to efforts to engage Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The position runs Sep–Nov 2026 with flexible weekend hours and an hourly rate of $21.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience working with Asian American communities is a plus.
• Conversational fluency in an Asian language is highly desirable.
• Comfort with mobile tech (maps, canvassing app) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Door-to-door canvassing using the MiniVAN app to speak with voters.
• Track conversations in the canvassing platform.
• Participate in canvassing training and debrief sessions.
• Join organization-wide meetings and events as directed by supervisor.
• Other duties as necessary.
