Job summary

The Jack Miller Center in Bala Cynwyd, PA seeks a Coalitions Associate to support the National Summit on Civic Education. You will work with coalitions and events teams to plan and execute a major annual gathering that advances civics education across the country.

The role is based in our Bala Cynwyd office (not remote) with occasional travel and a salary in the $50,000–$60,000 range. Report to the Executive Director of the Founding Civics Initiative.

Qualifications

• Affinity for the Jack Miller Center mission and the ability to articulate it in conversation.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple objectives, tasks, and timelines simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical skills to manage unfamiliar web-based applications; InDesign, WordPress, and/or Swoogo are a plus.
• Experience with in-person events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of the National Summit on Civic Education.
• Coordinate digital and print material needs for the event with teams.
• Support Summit communications, invitations, reminders, and attendee questions.
• Manage Summit registration site and sponsorship language.
• Track invitation and registration lists across audiences.
• Work with the development team to track sponsorships and acknowledgements.
• Collaborate with meetings and events team for seamless execution.
• Attend virtual or in-person civics-related convenings when needed.
