Qualifications

• Current UPIKE student in good academic standing.
• Interest in public service, civic education, political science, history, communications, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan events and manage the Allegheny Civic Fellowship in collaboration with the Director and Program Associate.
• Generate original content for the Center for Public Service's social media to promote civic initiatives and programming.
• Coordinate and manage the Director's schedule, including meetings, events, and public engagements.
• Answer phones and assist with general office communication and outreach.
• Create engaging instructional and promotional content for the Civics Summer Camp.
• Assist in compiling primary source documents and educational resources for local K–12 educators.
• Engage in community outreach regarding civic programming and public events.
• Assist in researching and drafting grant proposals.
