Qualifications

• At least 1 year of full-time tree trimming or related experience.
• Experience climbing trees using safety gear and operating power saws and lifts.
• ISA Tree Worker Certificate is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune trees, trim, treat, spray, plant, fertilize, transplant and remove trees.
• Work to eliminate hazards and preserve traffic flow on streets, parks and public grounds.
• Perform tasks that support tree health and safety in City of Los Angeles areas.
