Job summary

City of Corvallis Information Technology is seeking a System Administrator to lead citywide IT projects and provide Tier II support. The role requires strong expertise in Windows/Linux environments, AD/GPO, and system security controls.

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with a 12-month probation. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, and CJIS security clearance and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with seven years of computer system support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field with at least three years of server support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server OS 2012+ and Linux; AD/GPO scripts; remote deployment; antivirus management; Windows scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for citywide information systems implementations.
• Serve as Tier II technical support above Help Desk for the organization; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Coordinate and conduct user training; maintain knowledge base for self-service resolution.
