Job summary

The City of San José's Information Technology Department seeks an Assistant Chief Information Officer to partner with the CIO, lead a 51-person innovation and technology team, and deliver superior municipal services through advanced solutions, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision making.

This role requires seven years of senior IT leadership with supervisory experience in a large public agency; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive senior IT leadership experience with demonstrated growth.
• Supervisory and managerial experience leading multi-disciplinary technology teams.
• Experience in a large public agency is highly desirable.
