Job summary

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a Building Maintenance worker to perform minor repairs and routine upkeep across City facilities and equipment. The role requires versatility across plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC, painting, carpentry, grounds tasks, and vehicle maintenance.

Starting hourly rate is $21.43 with potential pay increases based on length of service and contractual factors. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3pm, with changes possible to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• At least two years building maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Minor repair and maintenance of interior and exterior of City facilities and equipment.
• Work across plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC, painting, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and routine vehicle maintenance.
