City of Midland is seeking a City Engineer to serve as the primary engineering authority and a trusted advisor to executive leadership. You will provide strategic direction for municipal infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to support responsible growth.

The role requires extensive engineering leadership, a Texas P.E. license, and a track record of overseeing complex public works projects within a growing municipality located in Midland, Texas.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Ten years of progressive engineering experience with municipal leadership preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the City's designated Professional Engineer (P.E.), Engineer of Record when assigned, and chief engineering authority for all municipal engineering matters.
• Provide engineering leadership and technical guidance to executive leadership and City Council.
• Ensure municipal engineering practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Review, certify, signs, and seals engineering documents, plans, specifications, reports, and studies as required.
• Collaborate with departments across the city to advance infrastructure and development initiatives.
• Lead City CIP oversight, project prioritization, and long-range infrastructure planning.
