Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Florida is seeking a hub delivery coordinator to supervise city routes and coordinate delivery specialists for spoke stores. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to improve communications across routes.

You will receive orders from stores, ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery, and maintain accurate records for daily operations. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to optimize schedules while maintaining fleet and route efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee city route schedule and delivery specialists for hub to spoke stores.
• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice and ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to pickup by city delivery specialists.
• Maintain organized city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency and reduce expenses; communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Ensure hub team members clock in/out according to policy.
• Research any undelivered parts and make necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with store manager to cover routes in absence of regular city delivery specialist.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed accurately.
• Log daily mileage into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input on delivery specialists performance for evaluations.

Essential Job Functions

Serve as contact person for city delivery service. Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time. Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up order for delivery. Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store. Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and/or communicate any delays to stores remaining on route. Continually monitor hub system and routes for ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses. Communicate recommendations to store manager. Make sure all team members assigned to hub are clocking in and out according to company policy. Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make any necessary billing adjustments. Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialist. Work with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately. Ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles. Provide input to store manager with regard to delivery specialists performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
