Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Hub Coordinator in Manchester, CT to oversee city routes and ensure orders are pulled and delivered on schedule to spoke stores. This role requires attention to route planning, inventory accuracy, and vehicle maintenance.

Bilingual candidates encouraged; experience with hub systems preferred. You will work with store managers to optimize routes, monitor performance, and support drivers through daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hub delivery specialists are on schedule and communicate delays to stores on route.

• Ensure team members clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist store manager in covering routes in absence of regular city delivery specialist.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and mileage is logged in asset management.

Job description

To coordinate and oversee city route schedule, functions, and delivery specialists of the "hub" store to "spoke" stores.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up order for delivery.
• Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and/or communicate any delays to stores remaining on route.
• Continuously monitor hub system and routes for ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses; communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Make sure all team members assigned to hub are clocking in and out according to company policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make any necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialist.
• Work with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately; ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input to store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
