Job description

To coordinate and oversee city route schedules, functions, and delivery specialists of the hub store to spoke stores.

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice; ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up order for delivery.
• Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and/or communicate any delays to stores remaining on route.
• Continually monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses; communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Ensure all hub team members clock in and out according to company policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialist.
• Work with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately; ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input to store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.

Required

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

Desired

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
