Job summary

City of Gastonia seeks a senior leader to oversee technology infrastructure, systems, services, and Technology Services divisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, MIS, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years managing large-scale projects and teams; equivalent combo of education/experience accepted.
• Project Management and/or Information Security training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Technology Services divisions, managers and staff.
• Direct technology operations, projects, and staff to meet city objectives.
• Assist CIO with budgeting, procurement, RFPs, bids, contracts and admin tasks.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity, physical security, business continuity, and disaster recovery policies.
