Location Description

The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide.

Overview

The Citrus Club is an exclusive, adults-only lounge at the Arizona Biltmore offering dedicated concierge services, a curated bar selection and buffet style dining throughout the day for guests 21+. It is a top tier experience where true, luxury service naturally blooms - just as the original Arizona Biltmore citrus groves once did in the same location. Hours of operation are 6am-10pm.

Duties

As a Citrus Club Concierge, you are responsible handling all guest inquiries and facilitating the needs of guests in the Citrus Club Lounge. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all hotel meetings, events, and functions.
  • Greet guests in an appropriate manner and offer to assist with their needs.
  • Answer telephone calls for specific services and dispatch the appropriate associates to respond to the guest’s request. Coordinate completion of these services to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Assist guest with making arrangements to visit points of interest, attractions, museums, and parks in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Assist guest with making restaurant recommendations and reservations.
  • Continuously check on the needs of guests in entire lounge, bussing tables, and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Serve cocktails, wine, beer and champagne in accordance with safe alcohol service standards. Ensure alcohol awareness procedures are in place (TIPS) and notify manager of any guest incidents.
  • Complete side work to include polishing/rolling silverware, stocking beverages, condiments and glasses/plates, sweeping and cleaning as directed.
  • Assist in controlling the flow of activity in lounge during food and beverage periods by assisting pantry attendants.
  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Prior food and beverage experience, preferred
  • Prior bartending experience, preferred
  • Prior Concierge or luxury hotel experience, preferred
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the area
  • Good with computers and programs
  • Team player
  • A desire to grow and develop
