Job summary

GCyber seeks a Citrix Infrastructure Administrator to support our government customer in Arlington, VA. You will configure, administer, and sustain an enterprise CVAD and Citrix ADC environment, ensuring health, security, and performance across distributed sites.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, DoD Top Secret clearance, and hands-on Citrix and networking experience. You will automate tasks with PowerShell and document configurations and incident workflows.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Willing to take and maintain a CI Poly.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization and Citrix technologies.
• IAT II Certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC).
• Hands-on Citrix ADC (NetScaler) administration.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing).
• Citrix certifications preferred (CCA-V/CCP-V).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and performance across locations.

Job description

GCyber is seeking a Citrix Infrastructure Administrator, to help support our government customer. The Citrix Infrastructure Administrator will configure, administer, and sustain an enterprise Citrix environment supporting geographically distributed users. In this position you will be responsible for day-to-day health, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, and security integration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).

As the Citrix Infrastructure Administrator, you will:

• Configure and maintain CVAD and Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including associated access components (e.g., StoreFront, Citrix Gateway) as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user connectivity, latency, and performance issues across geographic locations.
• Perform routine patching, system health checks, upgrades, and firmware updates for Citrix infrastructure, hypervisors, and supporting platforms.
• Manage security and access, including Active Directory integration, user/group access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Automate provisioning and administrative tasks using PowerShell (or similar scripting).
• Document configurations and operational procedures; support incident/change workflows.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
• Candidate must be willing to take and maintain a CI Poly.
• BA degree and 4+ years experience with enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies (e.g. XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway/CVAD). Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• IAT II Certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC)
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates.
• Citrix certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V) – preferred.
